"The Story of an Hour" is man vs. himself. She had married the man even though she didnt love him. Back then marrige wasnt like what it is today. Women would have to get married if they wanted anything in life. It was her fault that she married him and there was nothing she could do about it now. There were no divorces and she was stuck with him even thoufg she didnt love him. She would be stuck with him untill one of them died. She was the one that had said yes to him and had married him. it was no one elses fault exept hers. Now she was stuck with him.

My goals are to be able to put more details in my paragraphs. I also want to write longer paragaphs and have better transitions. I hope to be able to write a better intruduction and theisis statment.

Mathilda gets invited to go to a ball so she goes and buys a new dress. After she buys the dress she realizes she doesnt have any jewlry to wear with it. So thenm she goes to her friend and barrows a neckalce. After the dance she finds out the necklace is missing! The next day her and her husband go back and retrace their steps. After they cant find it they decied to buy another one just like the one they lost and give it back to the lady. They find a necklace exactly like the missing one. After selling most of their posetions they have enough money to buy the necklace. Later after they gave the necklace back they found out mthat it was only worth 500 franks.

How to build a fire is a story about man vs nature. It's about a man lost in Canada. He is stuck in a blizzard and has to survive. The element of nature is th bilizzard the man finds himself lost in. He was walking on a trail in Canada to meet up with his friends. He is all by himself in the middle of what he dosnt know is a blizzard. He is walking and gets his foot wet so he bulids a fire to dry it off. But the fire gets put out by snow faling from a branch. He starts to get numb so he starts running. When he was running he fell down then got back up then fell again. After he fell for the last time he whent to sleep for ever, nature won.
